SPCA Cessation carried unanimously

SPCA Extraordinary General Meeting

was held on

Saturday 13 June 2009

The following motion had been tabled by the Executive Board.

“This EGM resolves that the SPCA should be
formally wound up and cease trading on 30th June 2009
in accordance with the regulations pertaining to
Companies House and the Office of the Scottish Charities Regulator
and our own Memorandum and Articles of Association”.

The motion was carried unanimously.

There were sufficient votes to make the meeting qorate.


A letter had recently been sent to contact addresses for the attention
of the Chair of all Parent Councils in Scotland
as well as all Scottish Directors of Education

NOTE - - - - - E-Mail Accounts

As SPCA closed, there was no point paying to renew our SPCA e-mail address arrangements.

If you are receiving an error in your e-mail program, as a result of this closure, trying one of the following may help :-

Outlook Express (and Windows Mail may be similar)

Go to “Tools” and go down to “Accounts” and click it

            On the Internet Accounts menu box - go to the “Mail” tab.

A list of e-mail addresses should appear – depending on how you have

set up your program –

click on the one      <your school name> @scottishparents.com

Be sure it is the correct one and click remove,

A warning box appears to confirm, then click finish.

Outlook 2000, 2002, 2003, 2007

Go to “Tools” and go down to “E-mail Accounts” and click it

            Choose “View or change existing e-mail accounts” if not already chosen and

click Next

A list of e-mail addresses should appear – depending on how you have

set up your program –

click on the one      <your school name> @scottishparents.com

Be sure it is the correct one and click “remove”,

then click finish.
