Staff

The firm principal is Ian Bell who qualified as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland in 1981. Ian is a Registered Auditor as well as being fully conversant in accountancy and taxation matters. In addition Ian has a particular interest in Charity matters and acts for a significant number of charity clients, both large and small. 

His principal assistant for 22 years is Maureen Thompson who has much experience in accountancy and taxation matters with particular expertise in PAYE matters.

History

The firm of Ian M Bell, Chartered Accountants commenced trading from offices at 11 Great King Street, Dumfries on 1^st October 2004.  Previously, Ian has worked in the area for 23 years as a partner in a local firm.
